Performative + Emotional + Emphatic + Energetic = Raimund Schucht works on impulse, often his paintings are created within a short period of time. It is about drawing from the dynamics of the moment. An energy output of power and material, but always figurative. The human being as a force field, in all facets.
Raimund Schucht, born 1981 in Siegen, lives and works in Berlin. A completed apprenticeship as an interior decorator, a degree in engineering and a Master of Arts in scenic space / stage design are one of his paths. Today Schucht also works as a freelance artist, architect, scenographer and stage designer in the field of culture and art. He is a member of the bbk Berufsverband bildender Künstler*innen Berlin (Professional Association of Visual Artists Berlin) and the KunstEtagenPankow art association.
