El Mato: Change, colonization, and ancestral traditions. After visiting Guaviare, Colombia’s Amazon entry, I’ve created a group of images, drawings, and paintings to stimulate reflection on the future of sacred places. This project invites contemplation on the intersection of culture, nature, and the consequences of colonization on indigenous lands, fostering dialogue on preservation and change.
